Music and Poetry from the Heart is a composition of delightful
music by pianist James W. Atkinson, inspired by the poetry of Larry R.
Troxel. This is the second musical CD James has produced, this time using
the lyrics of poetry published by Larry. It is a collection of warm-hearted
songs of faith and inspirational balladry sung by Carlos Sanches, Liza Tyra
and Raelene Teerlink. Songs include the rhythmic optimism of a new day in
"Good Morning", a reflection on life in "Waves", the lilt of a love song
in "The Flowers Say", and "My Soul", a ballad comparing a mariner's
voyage to man's spiritual sojourn. Each song carries wonderful melodies
