The Work
Following Jason Deere’s acclaimed Joseph: A Nashville Tribute to the Prophet, and Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Mormon Pioneers, he and rest of the Nashville Tribute Band are pleased to announce The Work: A Nashville Tribute to the Missionaries. It’s a heartfelt homage to today’s armies of Helaman, crafted by some of Nashville’s most talented folks. With songs like “Bless My Son,” “Hardest thing I ever Loved,” and the single “I was Born,” the spirits of missionaries and all those who support them will soar on the wings of The Work: A Nashville Tribute to the Missionaries.

Review: The Nashville Tribute albums are the best! The Joseph one was instrumental in bringing my husband back to the church, The Work has inspired me to open my mouth and it makes me feel close to my son who is on a mission right now. I share these albums with everyone I love; they are so uplifting and easy to learn every word to. The messages fill my soul with hope and wonder and continue to strengthen my testimony of the Saviour and His work. ♥

Review: This album is incredible! This album captures the spirit and essence of missionary work! The songs took me right back to different points leading up to and during my mission allowing me to relive wonderful experiences and feelings. A perfect reminder of how sweet is THE WORK! The songs are moving and powerful and packed with the Spirit. Outstanding job Jason and everyone. I am in awe! Perhaps my favorite thing is that my wife and kids and I now LOVE to sing "Children Go Where I Send Thee" together in 4 part harmony. Keep up the great work!

Review: Love every one of the songs. Jason Deere has a special connection with Heaven and brings it down so the rest of us can share. And no...it is not JUST country music so don't be put off by the "NASHVILLE" tag. His phenomenal talent crosses amazingly over many musical genres. Combined with guest artists of various backgrounds within or, who are friends of, the LDS music community, this musical tribute to the missionary effort is awe inspiring and awe-some in the most literal way. Jason has written these lyrics from almost every perspective of those people involved the gospel learning and teaching process. And it is ALWAYS a joy to hear Dan Truman of Diamond Rio work his magic with a keyboard. My favourites...too many but veteran country music vocalist Billy Dean's "Stronger" ...yeah....worth the money right there! I HIGHLY recommend this album of inspiring and moving musical 'stories'. The same quality production that we have come to expect from Jason Deere and friends is found here and I believe EVERY missionary and every member should have one. My son is heading to Vina Del Mar Chile and you can bet that The Work will be packed in his bags!! Sue from Canada
