David Tolk spent the first part of 2010 composing, arranging, and recording Christmas music for his newest CD. In September of 2010, David released his newest CD, David Tolk Christmas, which contains warm peaceful instrumental arrangements of traditional Christmas carols including The Holly and the Ivy, Still Still Still, What Child is This, The First Noel, Lo How a Rose E’er Blooming, I Saw Three Ships, O Come O Come Emmanuel, Carol of the Bells, Away in a Manger, and Savior of the Nations Come. In addition to David’s work on the piano and synthesizers, David Tolk Christmas features the musical talents of violinist, Aaron Ashton, oboe player, Daron Bradford, and guitarist/mandolinist, Ryan Tilby. The Christmas album also features the original artwork of renowned artist J. Kirk Richards. David’s holiday music has been compared to the music of George Winston, David Lanz, and Mannheim Steamroller.
