Me'Chel Musgrave, Debbie Bastian, and Lori Hales comprise Heartbound, a musical trio that has a sound uniquely reminiscent of the famous Andrews Sisters of the 1940s. Their well-matched vibratos and harmonies have delighted audiences throughout the United States.
Heartbound has literally performed from coast to coast across America. They have performed for American Mothers Inc. conventions, World Senior Games, Carnival Cruise-Christian Group, Franklin Covey, Tahitian Noni International, motivational programs, youth groups, women's conferences, private galas and other events. They have also performed and recorded with internationally renowned pianist Marvin Goldstein.
The group writes their own lyrics and composes their own music, bringing their unique brand of joy, peace and hope to audiences. They originally began writing soft pop, but have expanded their style to include blues, a little gospel, and motivational works, producing eight CDs and two songbooks.
They have been singing together for more than 20 years. As best friends they found that singing together consumed fewer calories than going to lunch regularly. Between them they have been married for 89 years, mothered 13 children, have six adorable grandchildren and enjoy the support of their terrific families. Like you, they live in the real world and experience the ups and downs of everyday life.
