Tami and Derena met each other while their families were serving in the US Air Force in England. Both of them had lost their mothers at a young age and found this common bond between them. Derena had written a poem about her mom that she gave to Tami, and a few years later, Tami put it to music. This started their music writing career. This year, 2010, their song "I Know That My Savior Loves Me" was featured in the Primary Sacrament meeting program.
Tami has been playing the piano since the age of 4 and composed her first song at the age of 10. She was in the first performing group of the Young Ambassadors from BYU to perform in Mainland China. She is married to LaMar Creamer and they have lived all over the world. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. They currently live in Syracuse Utah.
Derena is married to Bob Bell and they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Interior Design and she enjoys helping others beautify their homes. She has been writing poems and stories for years but her greatest enjoyment has been in writing lyrics.
