Growing up, music was always very important in Sara Larsen's home. Born and raised in Layton, Utah, she shared her mothers love for music, and began playing the piano and singing at the age of eight. In junior high and high school she participated in school musicals and choirs and sang at many church and community events. After graduating from high school, Sara decided to move to Henderson, Nevada, where she studied and recorded her first demo CD with renowned vocal coach, Jeffrey Skouson. Two years later, she returned to Utah to finish college at Weber State University. In August, 2009, she began working with songwriter Penny Poulsen Watson and composer Alane M. Macrum on the newly-released album "Find A Grove."
