In the 1970s BYU composer-in-residence Merrill Bradshaw created this stunning oratorio retelling the story of the Prophet Joseph Smith, the events surrounding the Restoration of the gospel, and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. From the 1974 premiere performances conducted by faculty choral director John R. Halliday with BYU combined choirs, orchestra, and soloists Christine Rogers, soprano; Lois Johnson, mezzo-soprano; Roger Hoffman, tenor; and Craig Jessop, baritone. Digitally remixed and re-mastered.
