The Gift ""The Gift"" is a unique two song project. The title song is based upon Marie's recent experience with cancer and the amazing gift it is to live every day. This song has been featured at the Susan Koman 3 day run in San Diego and many American Cancer Society events in Southern California. ""He Gave Up His Life For Me"" is a moving contemporary Christian song that centers on faith and hope in the Savior.
Larry and Marie Pearson are a brother-sister duo with a distinctive style that truly stands out in the contemporary Christian music field. Both are exceptional songwriters and musicians, having written songs published by Irving Music, which was formerly the publishing division of A&M Records. Larry has written for PBS and is an accomplished arranger. In addition to their own Marie has sung on many other projects including a Christmas album for Target. She has been the spokesperson for national TV ads for the Mormon church and is also a voice/over artist completing work for such firms as Intel, NBC and Hallmark. You’ll find their work on projects by Especially for Youth, Shadow Mountain, Deseret Book, Frog and Scorpion, and Sounds of Zion.
